Meditation to Realize Oneness

fractal, meditation, oneness, realization
To believe in oneness is nice but it remains only a concept until we personal experience and realize the oneness of our own being. This is the case with all qualities and expressions of eternal truth, whether it be peace, joy, love, wholeness, or abundance. You can certainly start with any quality of eternal truth, focus on realizing that within yourself, but all of them exist within and express from the truth of oneness that we are.

We tend to think of ourselves as a body, a mind, both subconscious and conscious, an emotional body, an energetic system, a soul, spirit, and higher self, and perhaps something beyond that. Our thought processes create divisions between these different aspects and identify them as separate entities, other than the "me" we know. The separation in consciousness prevents us from experiencing our true wholeness, our true oneness, and all the qualities of being that are expressions of it.

This simple meditation prompt can assist you in opening to your true, personal oneness. It was a gift from an aspect of all that I am that is not limited in awareness by identification with form. I waited a long time before taking it into my heart in meditation but once I did it expanded my awareness until I finally experienced deeply the truth that, "I am not many. I am one."

I invite you to give yourself some time when you will not be interrupted, disconnect from all technology, and relax in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply without straining. Bring your attention into your heart area and speak the words, "I am not many. I am one." Allow your awareness to expand and be present with what you perceive. If distracting thoughts enter your mind you can repeat the phrase to bring your attention back.

The more you realize the truth of your personal oneness the more you will discover the magnificence that is you and the wonderful experience that life on earth can be. You will awaken to who you really are and the incredible things that are possible for you.

  1. Hi Jacqueline,

Meditation has been part of my life for many years. It has become a daily habit. It not only puts me in a "oneness" with my SELF, but also has helped me physically.

I love the picture you posted. Just beautiful!

    1. Hi, Donna. Meditation is one of the best things we can ever do for ourselves. Like you, I've experienced the physical benefits as well.
The image is one of my new fractal art pieces that I haven't titled yet. Not sure what to call it. :)
